Prenatal Belly Art is usually done in the last two months of pregnancy.
We keep in mind how comfortable the mother to be will be during her painting. Some mothers enjoy the experience more at home with their family while others love to share this experience during their baby shower! Wherever she decides to be painted, we want her to be comfortable. Call Jen at: 469-865-5032 to discuss your ideas or to get ideas.
Painting time Depends on the DETAIL desired. Most take 90 minutes. For the best estimate on how long a painting will take, the type of design will need to be decided 2 weeks before the day of the painting.
Helpful Tips:
The ideal clothing to wear depends on the theme of the art being done. Example: if mother to be wants a pastel painting she should wear light colored clothing but many photos turn out excellent using black fabrics. Make sure whatever you decide to wear, be comfortable.
How long a painting will last depends on the mother to be. If she decides to put clothing over her belly after it is done, the painting will gradually rub off. If she decides to show her belly art off, it will last hours. The paint is water soluble, the minute any water touches it, it will start to come off. Use any mild skin wash to clean away the make-up. If any traces of make-up remain, rub desired lotion onto the trace spots and wash again. If mother to be wishes to have her prenatal art pictures depicted in Black Light, there must be a room capable of becoming completely dark and allow room to take photos with a black light (artist will bring one).

I've kept my eye on a new makeup that's been on the market for a while now and waited for the reviews....
The reviews are definitely in and this stuff is Awesome! Kids Love that they can keep their design on even longer and parents love that it doesn't melt or wash away in the sun or the pool!
Now don't get nervous! This paint is made to be removed with baby oil, olive oil, mascara wipes or makeup remover is applied. Once your choice of oil is applied begin to lather it around the paint (NO water yet) and wipe away using baby wipes, a dark cloth or a damp paper towel. Repeat the lathering and wiping process until most of the make-up is gone. After that wash your face as normal. If you do not want to remove immediately, the natural oil of the skin will naturally break down the makeup after 1-3 days.
Personally tested and approved on myself and my 3 children with no issues. Used now for 3 1/2 years with very happy clients! The amount of time removing this makeup is about 2 or 3 minutes longer than that of our regular water soluble makeup.
